Wacker’s Rammer now has a Honda Engine

May 5, 2014

The most preferred rammer just got better. Wacker Neuson, well known for excellent compaction equipment, just added a Honda GX100 4-cycle engine to their rammer units.  The new models, BS 50-4As and BS 60-4As, are a great addition to Wacker’s compaction line.

One of the most popular features of these models is its  “low oil shutoff” indicator. This unique technology will not allow the engine to start if there is low oil or no oil, protecting it from damage from overheating.  Plus, the four-stage air filtration system is virtually dust-free and increases engine life and durability.

This rammer’s ignition and fuel shut off are built into the throttle control for ease of operation. Due to the shockmount system on the guide handle, HAV ( hand-arm vibration) is greatly reduced, as well as operator fatigue.

These rammers are perfect in confined areas and will compact cohesive, mixed and granular soils. If you are looking for a rammer that will provide years of reliable service, the BS 5o-4As or the BS 60-4As is your machine. For more information call us at Walker Miller Equipment.
