Customer Support Sales Coordinator

Job Description

Walker Miller is expanding in new market areas and is seeking additional personnel to assist customers in our showroom and with phone support and follow-up for construction equipment rental and sales, and contractors supplies.  This position requires a highly personable, intelligent, experienced individual who will be responsible for providing great customer service.  This position will not require sales cold calls.

Hours: M – F: 7:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in the main showroom and provide phone support for rental and purchase of construction equipment, and purchase of contractors supplies
  • Maintain showroom inventory of contractors supplies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Provide excellent customer service and support

Required Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of construction equipment and small engines preferable, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Business concentrations, or on-track for same semester graduation
  • Read, write, and speak English as required by safety standards
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with good driving record
  • Excellent business acumen for negotiation and sales support
  • Strong work ethic and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with good time management and organizational skills

Small Engine Mechanic

Job Description

Associate is responsible for servicing construction equipment for rental fleet and customers equipment, loading and unloading delivery trucks, assisting customers, drivers and mechanics, and managing inventory of equipment/supplies as necessary in facility.

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: M – F: 7:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Local candidates only: Orlando, FL

Responsibilities:

  • Service Construction Equipment
  • Operate Forklift – will train if necessary
  • Pressure Wash equipment after rental and repair
  • Keep yard clean, well-organized and safe
  • Maintain high level of customer service.
  • Maintain work area in clean and hazard free condition.
  • Start and test construction equipment before and after rental
  • Assist Drivers and Mechanics as needed

Required Education and Experience

  • High School or equivalent
  • Read, write and speak English as required by safety standards and job expectations
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to perform duties requiring bending, squatting and crawling.
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds each from floor level to heights up to 4 feet.
  • Mount and dismount fork lift trucks in the OSHA approved manner.
  • Must have Florida driver’s license with good driving record.
